Hi  there ! My name is Nurul Afiqah Binti Azaman and my friends call me Afiqah and i'm 19 years old, i’m a student and currently studying  in college at Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre.I'm taking Geography,Travel & Tourism,General Paper  which is English and Media Studies as my course subjects .I was actually happy when i am accepted to be in media studies and also as the very first batch  of media studies student in PTES,though i was quite feeling nervous yet curious because this course subject was quite new to me and different from any subjects.

 

The reason why I make this blog is to share and show you my journey on studying media studies and also to familiarize in organizing my blog for future exam assignment.

 

Why do I chose media studies?

Because I’ve always been enjoying taking pictures of the natures like the skies and the sunsets and i'm also obsessed with editing pictures in my phone using apps like Picsart ,VSCOCAM and also using Instagram.Here are some pictures that i took using my phone that i've also edited it.

but i still don't have the experienced to edit videos which is why i'd decided to choose media studies to learn how to edit videos and pictures more professionally and also to learn more about media studies!

Who is my inspiration?

Growing up i love watching National Geographic documentary and magazines because i love natures and help me released stress.I'm amazed by how the camera works and editing of these documentary and magazines of National Geographic so i looked up and followed in instagram on one of the photographer,Jimmy Chin.

Jimmy Chin is a National Geographic photographer and an Academy Award winning film maker for best documentary feature in 2019.He start his career in 1999 and his talent were quickly recognized by top expedition leaders and outdoor brands.He is also an adventurous who became one of the only people to ski off the summit of Mount Everest.Thus making him an inspirational to photographers including myself.
